I'll have to admit
that winter on the
Central Coast of
California is more
colorful than the grey
and wet days of our
SE Alaska rain forest.
I visited family and
friends there last year;
field flowers everyhwere!
I picked these and put
them on my painting
desk. It wasn't long
before they inspired
this painting.
