| A bit about our shipping rates and policies: |
The shipping rates that are automatically added upon checkout are based on a per print basis and assume domestic (U.S.) delivery. This is an inherent flaw in the PayPal checkout system that we hope someday to have corrected. Please do not be alarmed that shipping is added for each print purchased. We will adjust the shipping after you have checked out. For example, if you purchase 3 prints and the system has charged $6 for each print for a total of $18, we will refund you the appropriate amount once insurance has been taken into consideration. If the shipping rate is higher due to a non-continental U.S. shipping address, we will send you an electronic invoice for the difference. Whenever possible, we ship prints flat using brand new double strength cardboard and acid free mylar sleeves. If the print is oversized we may need to roll it and use a very strong shipping tube, but only if the print is pliable enough to be rolled. |

Obviously, shipments outside of the continental U.S. will be higher. PayPal (our online credit card processor) is currently not configured to apply international shipping rates automatically. We will send you an electronic invoice after you have checked out using the destination country as a guide. We base our rates on the U.S. Postal Service International Rates (which in May of 2007 increased significantly). We do not have control over these costs, so please do not ask us for less expensive options. We recommend that all packages carry insurance for the full value of the print(s). If you decline insurance coverage, any loss or damage will be at your complete risk. We understand that many countries impose taxes on imports, but please do not ask us to falsify customs records. Generally international rates begin at about $17 and climb from there based on insurance amounts and final destination. We are not profiting with our shipping rates, they merely cover the cost of shipping the items to you. We welcome any questions you might have. SUMMARY
If you have been charged too much through the automatic checkout system, we will refund the amount of excess shipping.
Likewise, if you live outside of the continental U.S. we will need to bill you for the additional shipping amount. We will send you a secure electronic invoice for the amount.
We realize this is a bit cumbersome, but so far PayPal has not come up with a solution to identify and charge the appropriate amount for multiple purchases and international rates.
