A group of men seated around a table on which lies a piece of paper lettered with 'Racing calender', discussing horse racing (from left to right, Lord Stanley, Dukes of Richmond, Buckingham, Rutland, Sir Robert Inglis, Marquis of Exeter, Duke of Beaufort, Lord Wilton, Lord Bentinck, Benjamin Disraeli, Sir J Tyrrell, Mr Miles, Augustus Stafford O'Brien-Stafford).


Inscription Content: Series title and number at top right; initialled by artist; lettered within image on papers and with six speech balloons, and below with title and publication details: 'Published by T. Mc. Lean, 26 Haymarket, June 5th. 1846. / Printed at 70, St. Martins Lane'
With eye-shaped blindstamp at bottom left, lettered with 'Subscribers copy' and HB's monogram at centre.
