"High Tide"

The tide is in. It’s a sunny day and the laundry is billowing in the warm breeze. Many Tenakee folk hang their laundry under the house between the pilings. That way, if the occasional sprinkle should happen in this rain forest, the laundry is still drying. This person’s laundry line is positioned just above the high tide line. On this perfect day in Tenakee there are no worries about rain.
