NOTE: During several periods of the life of the magazine, Vanity Fair had the cartoons printed using offset lithography as opposed to the traditional stone lithography. Thus, some prints—like this one—will have a dot pattern unlike the smooth tones of a stone lithograph. This is true for prints during the years 1906-1911. This print was printed by Bemrose Dalziel Ltd., Wateford & London in 1908 and is NOT a modern reproduction. |
