NOTE: The Queen died in January 1901, tactful in her death by waiting until the nineteenth century was absolutely and indisputably over. To mourn her, Vanity Fair reprinted Guth's portrait from 1897 in simple black and white (using the offset process, so there is a dot pattern on this print).
