~ About the Historic Orcas Postcard Portfolio ~ This series of bucolic images depicting scenes from early to mid 20th century Orcas Island were originally unsent black & white postcards, collected by islander Mary Campbell Roebuck. Orcas photographer Peter C. Fisher and Darvill's Rare Prints are pleased to make them available once again for the enjoyment of those who consider Orcas Island a special place to live and to visit. Fisher has painstakingly scanned the original photographs (from the collection of islander Judy Beemer), retouching damage, adjusting tonal values and cleaning up the aged images. They are now available as 7" x 12" prints in a 16" x 20" mat or matted/framed to museum standards using the finest quality materials. Matted 8 x 10 inch prints are now available also! |
