We are excited to announce that it is now up and running and that our massive inventory of Antique Prints and Rare Maps are being transferred over to the new site daily. In addition to the nearly 500,000 prints found on www.DarvillsRarePrints.com, Adirondack Retro offers an eclectic selection of Antique and Vintage Advertisements along with their Limited Edition Giclee Prints. Condition notes
Good/Very Good: Some edge/corner wear — would be completely covered by a mount/mat. Remnant of previous hinging tape on BACK of print.
NOTE: this print is not a stone lithograph like so many of the Vanity Fair prints. During certain times in the late years of the magazine, the publishers used the (then) fairly new process of halftone offset lithography. In this case the printers were Hentschel-Colourtype of London. Under magnification, the print does have halftone dots, but is not a modern reproduction—it is an authentic, original print over 100 years old, guaranteed.
